On the night of the dark moon, fill yourself a nice deep bath. Turn off the lights and light a single candle. Add a few drops of cleansing and purifying essential oils such as cypress, lemongrass, frankincense or pine, and some mineral salts. Relax your body, close your eyes and turn your gaze within. breathe deeply and notice if there are any tensions or blockages anywhere. It may be purely physical or it may be related to a particular emotion or state of mind. Imagine that anything that is bothering or troubling you is slowly drawn out of your body and offered into the water. Once you feel that everything has seeped into the water, begin emptying the bath, feeling the release and spaciousness within as what you no longer need drains away with the bath water.
