Soma Yoga for Women

EMBODIED INTIMACY & ATTENTION

Soma Yoga is a rhythmic and sensorial practice, held as a sanctuary for women — a quiet yet sensuous alcove where breath softens, presence deepens, and the body is felt from within as a living continuity.

Each atelier begins in stillness, gradually unfurling into a spacious rhythm. Breath and movement are invited to settle into their natural cadence, reawakening sensation and offering a gentle return toward inner alignment. As awareness draws inward and attunement deepens, tension begins to soften, habitual patterns ease, and a wide terrain of fluency and spaciousness quietly opens beneath the surface. Movements are offered with steady care — grounded in attentiveness and guided by thoughtful listening — gently supporting the body through sequences that cultivate coherence, tender awareness, and sensuous reconnection.

Postures arise as vessels of support, offering a firm yet fluid architecture through which vitality flows, patterns dissolve with ease, and space is gradually restored along the body's contours. Breath becomes intimate and continuous — threading itself through gesture and sensation, inviting calm, discernment, and embodied presence.

Guidance is shaped with refinement and attentiveness, serving not to direct, but to orient and accompany. Within this potent field of attention, movement unfolds in resonance with your own timing and sensibility. A gentle ushering, subtle and attuned, becomes the thread through which practice takes shape — always held within an atmosphere of permission, receptivity, and shared presence.

From menstruation to conception, through postpartum, perimenopause, and the unfolding terrain beyond, the practice creates space for the shifts and recalibrations that mark each phase of womanhood. Each threshold is received with nuance and respect — allowing time, space, and presence for what asks to be felt, known, or released.

As the practice concludes, the body enters the sanctuary of rest — a descent into laya, where gesture dissolves and awareness slips beneath the surface. This is a subtle meandering through inner terrain, where sensation lingers, sediments settle, and breath becomes the vehicle of quiet integration. Recalibration arises through allowance — a state suffused with release, where radiant stillness carries the imprint of all that has been touched, felt, and held. The feminine psyche finds restoration as deepening — a spacious folding inward, where presence continues to echo beneath the surface.

Soma Yoga offers space for intimate, inner passages — those liminal crossings where reference points soften, and something within begins to reorient toward a new quality of presence. Within this quiet arc of care and inner resourcing, something unfolds — resonant, porous, and deeply embodied.

A practice that honours the entirety of the feminine landscape — evolving, unbound, and intimately attuned to the wisdom that lives within.

  • "I am deeply touched and altered, over and over again, by Alexandra's multidimensional offerings, artistry, and enduring willingness to be in and of this Earth in integrity and love. And yet she has an ability to dissolve any hierarchy so that we may all meet in the essential space of loving-presence and our shared humanity, where co-creation and reciprocity can flourish. Since meeting Alexandra I muse more, I marvel more, and with ineffable gratitude, I know what it is to feel seen and safe enough to soften into the sacred mystery of it all."

The Seasonal Portals

EMBODIED ATTUNEMENT & RESONANCE

Thoughtfully curated in-person ateliers marking the seasonal turning points in the year, bringing us into resonance with the cycles of light and twilight, emergence and dissolution, earth and cosmos.

For over a decade, I have looked to these seasonal portals for inspiration and revelation. They serve not only as markers that set the rhythm of our collective journey through time and seasonality but also as metaphors for the transitions and thresholds we cross in our individual lives.

Embodying these seasonal portals allows us to align and harmonize with the inevitable passages of life. These sacred thresholds lay the foundation for our growth and inner transformation, guiding us towards greater maturity, empathy, and presence, if we allow ourselves to be touched and shaped from within.

These sessions are for all practitioners who wish to deepen their embodied wisdom and expand their capacity to embrace and absorb everything life has to offer in terms of opportunities for growth and transformation.

Each atelier begins with grounding attunement, setting the tone with thematic transmissions. This leads into an extended soma yoga practice, characterized by fluid, harmonious movements and an elegant continuity of postures, breath, and awareness. We seamlessly transition into deep rest, accompanied by the soothing vibrations of alchemy crystal bowls, allowing for full absorption of the practice's benefits. The journey concludes with a warm herbal infusion, crafted to warm the heart and revitalize the spirit, offering a serene space for reflection and connection.

  • "Each time, I am captivated by the way Alexandra's guidance elegantly harmonizes my energies, culminating in a profound sense of plenitude by the end of the practice. It's like a serene realignment of my place in the universe, nurturing an awareness of every element of life—stars, plants, minerals, water and fire, earth and air, both visible and invisible beings. I find myself standing poised, feet rooted to the earth and head nestled among the stars, in a state of communion with all that surrounds me. The essence of this experience defies simple description; it must be lived and one must attune to the subtle resonances of this yoga, which embodies both elegance and rigorous presence."
