Somatic Labs

MAY 2025 SAMAVESA SESSIONS

Throughout May I will offer a Somatic Labs Series as part of the Samavesa Sessions.

Together, we will chart the exquisite edge of emergence—that poetic and liminal slipstream where the inherent wisdom and fluency of Soma reveals herself. In this tender unfolding, we will step into the unknown with quiet attention, exploring the interplay of embodiment and efflorescence. The thresholds of the liminal will offer a haven for inquiry, a space to honour the art of becoming without expectation, grounded in humility and care.

Here, attention merges with incarnate artistry, gently shaping the contours of awareness into forms that are receptive, attuned, and open to possibility. The body offers herself as both compass and canvas—a living guide to the soft glow of presence and the gentle rigour of emergence.

Drawing inspiration from the exquisite wisdom of the Pratyabhijñā-hrdayam, where "through her own will, awareness unfolds the universe on the ‘canvas’ that is herself," these Somatic Labs will offer an invitation to simply listen, sense, and discover—letting the experience emerge, as it will, in its own time and grace.

Join us on Fridays at 7 AM BST

A  REVOLUTIONARY MODULE BRIDGING YOGA, SOMATICS & NON-DUAL TANTRIC PHILOSOPHY

I am honoured to be invited as a guest facilitator for this beautiful training, to be held this Autumn in Belgium. Curated by my friend and colleague Lies Mahy, Origins promises to be an intimate and innovative gathering, charting the terrain of evolution and embodiment through somatics and yoga.

Dive deep into the origins of your practice with our innovative yoga teacher training program, designed for experienced facilitators and dedicated practitioners. This weekend is an invitation to trace back to your roots through the lens of evolution and the philosophy of non-dual tantra. Yoga's ultimate goal is to merge ourselves with the state of oneness, and this program provides a transformative journey toward that goal. The non-dual view of tantra teaches us that everything originates from a unified field that expresses itself in myriad forms, from a leaf to a bird, a sound, a thought, or a human being. Tantra is an embodied philosophy meant to be experienced rather than understood solely with the rational mind. It views the body as a gateway to deeper experiences, not something to be mastered or disciplined.

Our unique somatic approach to yoga connects you to the innate intelligence of your body, allowing your practice to become an expression of what is deeply felt inside. Throughout this weekend, you will explore three evolutionary patterns while putting into perspective your relationship with the greater whole, seamlessly integrating somatic and tantric approaches. Facilitated by Lies Mahy (BE) and guest facilitator Alexandra Macdonald (AU/CH), who first crossed paths as professional dancers in Belgium and reconnected in Greece at a retreat with their teacher Tara Judelle, this program offers a safe and nurturing space for investigation. Their shared love for poetry, somatics, and tantra will guide you to facilitate from a truly embodied place. Join us for a weekend of profound exploration and transformation.
