A PLACE TO ARRIVE SOFTLY, IN YOUR OWN EMBODIED EXPERIENCE

My work unfolds within the gentle terrains of yoga, embodiment, and somatic awareness. These practices meet and support one another, offering a way of moving and sensing that is attentive, grounded, and alive. Through one‑to‑one sessions, group classes, ateliers, and immersions, I invite you into a simple, welcoming exploration of your own embodied experience — what I call Soma.

Soma is the body felt from within — a living field of sensation, coherence, and inner shaping. Here, movement is not something to perform or achieve. It arises naturally through listening, curiosity, and the quiet intelligence of your own body. This orientation threads through all aspects of my work.

Rather than fixed techniques, the practice unfolds through different pathways of experience:

  • Asana — postures offered as gentle frameworks for sensing and orientation, supporting you in meeting form from the inside out.

  • Sequencing — movement phrases that invite continuity, curiosity, and the felt connections within your body.

  • Somatic labs — guided explorations that help you attend to what is emerging, allowing movement to be shaped by inner inquiry.

  • Deep rest — a settling into quietude where your system can soften, integrate, and renew.

This soft arrival opens the way — the rest of the site invites you to discover, to deepen, and to let the work reveal itself.

  • "I had the huge privilege to work with Alexandra recently - a deep dive into all things Soma. As someone who grew up at a distance from my body and who turned to yoga to try and bridge that gap - somatics never felt like my first language. Alexandra’s teachings and holding was the most exquisite translation for this body at a distance from itself, allowing parts of me to slowly arrive through tender visiting via her insight-filled, crystal clear guiding and evocative and poetic language.
